what are these new songs?

well - we've written lots of new stuff. it's all rough. and can't decide what or when to record. we have enlisted the help of the very cute "zoom" recording device. the 4 songs up now, under the category "alive in the garage" are rough sketches that we've recorded with the zoom. they are rough for sure, but isn't the sound from the zoom pretty cool? this was just practice in the garage, but i recorded a band at the club the other night and the sound quality was great. what a great reference machine. i hope you like them. future versions in the future. thanks for your interest. postcoitus has relocated to LA. looking for a studio space. then hope to start playing out in the next few months. - -dw c/o postcoitus

POSTCOITUS: A COMPLETE HISTORY

- 2003* dw creates a project called "postcoitus" as a departure from the critically exclaimed rock band "dinomight cop" - dw plays shows by himself with a cd player and a strobe light - dw meets disco shawn at a house party - dw begins playing with aaron olson - aaron olson leaves town - dw starts playing with dm - 2004* disco shawn puts out the "build your own circus" compact disc on double negative records - 2005-6* the duo play venues and house parties all throughout oakland and san francisco - duo goes on hiatus - hiatus lasts 4 months - 2007* postcoitus plays ONE show - postcoitus takes a nap - ? - 2008* dw continues to write music - dw moves from oakland to san diego to escape the perils of rock and roll - dm stays in oakland - dw hides out in secret lair planing a hostile takeover of the los angeles electronic dance music scene - smoke and lights emit from the crack beneath the garage door in a mysterious inland community.........to be continued........postcoitus moves to mysterious mountain community to live in the snow and continue to record with hopes of a spring US tour. dreams of tour shattered by the ever present "reality." dw relocates to LA. and now here we are. patiently waiting for destiny. dw c/o postcoitus
