Post End is a project that is designed to allow any range of music preference to be embraced and displayed with no constraint. The songs written may or may not seem a bit random as far as context but most everyone has different sides of their own. Other musicians are needed to collaborate with and are urged to contribute any ideas that they may have. This is just the beginning so let's get started.......
Oct. 14, 2009: "Was at the 5 Spot in East Nashville on the 13th. This was the second, "Live at the 5 Spot" sponsered by Nashville Revolution Radio, which showcases local Nashville talent. First up on the card was, "Post End" which consisted of Jon Owens and Jonathan Harris. Owens has been involved in a couple of projects here in Nashville, Godplead, and most recently, The Pleading. Harris is a newcomer to the local live scene, his background has been in progressive music, but over the last several years moved to acoustic. The set was short, which isn't surprising considering they have only been together just a month, but was very impressed with what I heard. Jon's music has always had something to say, but given the sound of Jonathan's acoustic, it added a fresh dimension that I've not heard before. Owens was in great voice and seemed to be energized by the new collaboration. Another thing that was interesting to these ears was the re-do of some of Jon's older songs. I'd love to hear more of the same treatment that was given to "Bitter" and "If". Am excited for the both of them, and hopefully will hear more very soon."
