Straight up unpretentious dirty, bluesy, Rock 'n' Roll gettin touched up by a punk rock band whos singer loves Kid Rock, whos guitarist loves Slash, whos drummer loves Dave Grohl and whos bass player is bald.
Just like the music this wee bio is gonna get straight to the point-no fuckin about tryin to dress it up with fancy words and silly pretentious shit that a lot a other bands seem to do; ain't gonna hit you with things like the vocals elequently soothe your inner being while the drums are an array of sounds that only fine art coukld get close to-fuck that! Lol. So here goes. Posterchild were brought together around September 2005, with James, Tony and Chris planning a threepiece spontanious rock trio.
However; after a few gigs it became apparent that James was a crap singer and the search began.After a only a couple of weeks of searching, Stevie came to our attention in March 2006 and was immediatley appointed as our new frontman. We set to rocking your little socks off, but after a few drunken discussions we decided we weren't half as loud as we wanted to be, so being the entrepreneurs that we are, we immediatley found the loudest, baddest, baldest bass player around in April 2006 and finished our line up.
Chris left the band in October 2006, and Posterchild were then a 4-piece.
Posterchild are currently touring the Glasgow circuit and having a ball although we have been invited to Canada, Germany and Finland so who knows where we'll wake up next week.
