About me:

"I yell about love cos you can never do it loud enough!"

Hiya! I'm Sara, but I'm known to my friends as Sar Bear or Sar Bear Extraordinaire or SBE. I've got a lot of nicknames. I am also the Official Flight of the Conchords' Flight Attendants' A1 Cryer. I can cry in several languages. I am twenty-two (yes really) and an English major. I want to be a professional writer someday, but for now I'm hoping to work with children. Maybe I'll write children's books!

How do you pronounce Sar Bear Extraordinaire? Easy! Sâr Bâr Extraordinâr. (Hint: It all rhymes.)

Oh yeah, and I can sort of play the ukulele sometimes.

And in case you couldn't tell, I love Bret McKenzie.

"Why is our entire year strewn on the cutting room floor of memory while single frames of one magic night forever flicker in close-up on the 3-D IMAX of my mind? That's poetic. That's pathetic." ~ Mark Cohen in Rent

WHAT'S GOING ON IN VLOG-LAND?

"La la la, La la la, Za-muppety-puppety-love! La la la, La la la, Ma-Spockity-Nimoy-love!" ~ Lemon Demon aka Neil Cicierega

"Earl wouldn't try to kill Randy. Earl loves Randy. We're like peanut butter and jelly. Peanut butter wouldn't try to kill jelly. ...We're in the same sandwich!" ~ Randy on My Name Is Earl

"I'm trapped inside a cage. It isn't even locked. But I'm an idiot." ~ Lemon Demon

Who I'd like to meet:

"And remember, my sentimental friend, that a heart is not judged by how much you love, but by how much you are loved by others." ~ The Wizard of Oz to the Tin Man

ALIVE PEOPLE: Bret McKenzie and Jemaine Clement (It's always fun to meet them); Rhys Darby (AGAIN!); Kristen Schaal (AGAIN!); Arj Barker; Demetri Martin; Uni and her Ukelele; Age Pryor & the W.I.U.O. members; Neil Cicierega; Russell Brand; Noel Fielding; Julian Barrett; Anthony Rapp; Steve Carell; Jenna Fisher; Emo Philips; Robin Williams; Gene Wilder; Jim Carrey; Zooey Deschanel; Bill Murray; Michael Crawford; Pete Townshend; David Bowie; a scaly man-fish.

"Life's like a movie, write your own ending. Keep believing, keep pretending. We've done just what we've set out to do, thanks to the lovers, the dreamers and you..." ~ Kermit & The Muppets

NOT ALIVE PEOPLE: I wish I could tell the following people how much they have inspired me. And give them each a hug. Gilda Radner; John Belushi; Dom Deluise; Phil Hartman; John Entwistle; John Lennon; George Harrison; Graham Chapman; Jim Henson; Jimmy Stewart; Peter Sellers; Audrey Hepburn.

"If I spoke prose, you'd all find out I don't know what I talk about!" ~ Jeremy Hillary Boob, Ph.D. in Yellow Submarine

"He held me for an instant, but his arms felt safe and strong. It only takes a moment to be loved a whole life long." ~ Irene Malloy, Hello, Dolly!

"Oh, now you're saying that I'm redundant. That I repeat myself. That I say things OVER and OVER!" ~ Dr. Frasier Crane on Cheers

Didn't mean to make you cry; sorry.  Don't be sad about the pumpkins - I'm sure they've gone to a better place.  Like in a can of pumpkin pie filling or something.

    Hey there,

    Here's one from left field...

Ever wondered what to do in the event of a nuclear threat?

A while ago I found stuff that inspired me to make this film:

Living Under the Shadow of the Nuclear Umbrella

Both artistic (ensure you get the background music!) and educational, it primarily comprises official British government civil defence advice.

Though source materials are quite aged, much remains relevant today.

I encourage all to visit the YouTube page to learn more (Show support! Rate! Comment!) and responsibly circulate as widely as possible, here:

    Help to raise awareness.

Say have you checked out my web site recently?

Take care and keep in touch.

    Best,
    Faber.

SBE, your voice sometimes reminds me of Sarah Jessica Parker's - from Steve Martin's LA Stories, not from Sex In the City.
