Forming in September 2006 as "All Ages ACT", PostOp has been an integral part of the Canberra music scene for almost three years. Working with the best upcoming bands in Canberra, PostOp is set to to make a splash over the next few years.
Just thought we'd leave a comment to let you know that Ashes To Ashes will be celebrating our first birthday in Febuary of 2010. We're planning on getting him turned up a fair bit once we get rolling, he was a bit nervous so was good to break him into the first show, lots of work to be done in prac so he's more confident to crank it up.
Cheers dude. We ended up going to the Hellenic Club afterwards and went a lil bit too hard on the beers so it's been a struggle this week :P

Thanks heaps bro(Means alot).. If I can even get one person that had the time of their life at one of those shows, Ive succeeded. Just wanted to prove what Canberra's potential was and along the way, get much need experience for my band mates who had the awesome privilege of postering all over Canberra at 3 in the morning to avoid traffic for each and every show haha. Suckerssssss.

Gotta jet though mate, I got some cool things in store, I'm gonna get back into event co-ordinating but have to balance it but you will be one of the first to know when shiz goes down. I'm thinking of giving some of the younger bands a shot when possible, im digging Retraspec right now. They have the right attitude to succeed methinks.
Wells heres the dealio exclusively for you cause I think your well hung and good looking haha.. The Redefine EP was supposed to be released a fair while back. But while we were doing the finishing touches down in Melbourne there was a guy that liked our song Redefine, on the strength of that, he invited us for dinner to discuss our future plans. We nailed it when we gave him a list of what we'd done and references/photo's, like when we worked our asses off to bring Kisschasy, Gyroscope, After The Fall e.t.c. into Canberra to play to the kids back in 2006-07 I think. At the time, I put in so much work to make them shows fun so I guess it was good for the local scene(I noticed I was getting hit up heaps by bands who had heard Canberra was kicking ass at the time) and it was a great opportunty for us to get experience.
A few weeks later, he sent us a contract and what his label could do for us. We wanted creative control, he let us have it. He basically just gave us access to a studio and said, ' give us something that we can put on radio that people will dance to'. We re-recorded new version of older songs we had and wrote a bunch of new ones.
So thats basically the jist of it.
Now that was a long comment lol.

Thougth you'd want to know about a gig at ANU on Saturday 22nd August. The lineup is: ORIPHUS, ENTROPY WITHIN, UNHOLY VENDETTA and CHUD. THis will be an awesome gig!
