The Post Punk Kitchen is a vegan cooking show that I host along with my girl Terry Hope Romero. This is the website: theppk.com. It's on public access in Brooklyn, Manhattan and some other places, I'm really disorganized so I don't know all of them. You can also watch it online here. Tell your friends and anyone who will listen.
Here is the PPK mission statement: The Post Punk Kitchen is Brooklyn's fastest growing vegetarian punk rock cooking show because it's the only one. It is a "Bam!?"-free space for vegetarians and food-lovers everywhere that came into being in 2003, born out of frustration over the garbage that the Food Network was trying to feed the masses (no pun intended). We believe that the airwaves and the risotto are for the people, not for corporations trying to peddle their processed-cheese wears. And we just really, really, really could not take another second of Rachael Ray saying "EVOO".
I wrote a cookbook called "Vegan with a Vengeance". You should buy it and cook stuff!
Terry and I just finished our vegan cupcake book called "Vegan Cupcakes Take Over the World". It's going to kick your ass, literally.
Watch our Passover Episode if you've got 28 minutes to kill.
Who I'd like to meet: People who like to cook the fork out of some vegan food and bake the shiitake out of some cupcakes. And people from Junior High School. And people who think I am pretty.

Affecting CHANGE can be a daunting task. Affecting GLOBAL change? Try HERCULEAN. Still, with an issue as big as GLOBAL WARMING, it's going to take an equally enormous effort to make change. One organization is doing just that. It's 350.ORG, the international CLIMATE CHANGE campaign. Partnering with individuals and groups around the world, 350.ORG is changing the way we look at our changing climate. Already, 350.ORG has impacted environmental legislation in America, inspiring politicians to cut carbon 80% by 2050. On October 24th, 2009, 350 goes worldwide.
In coordination with 350's international day of action, ADITA.ORG releases "C350: MUSIC FOR A MOVEMENT". This compilation consists of a wide variety of artists from around Chicago, the midwest, and beyond. "C350: MUSIC FOR A MOVEMENT" benefits 350.ORG, with promotion of the October 24th day of action, and monetarily with each sale. ADITA.ORG is the digital home of A DAY IN THE AIR, a personal zine written by Bradley Adita. "C350: MUSIC FOR A MOVEMENT" is A Day In The Air #24 and the 4th CD to be released since 2000. "Iowahardcore.com(pilation)" was released in 2003.
