From Santo Andre, an industrial town near Sao Paulo ( Brazil ), POSTWAR was formed in 2001 to play Metal and show how to do it in the ABC Region way.
POSTWAR has shared the same stage with plenty of bands through all those years, and in 2009 the band is about to finish recording its debut full-length CD, called REVOLUTION, RELIGION & DISORDER, produced by Claudio David ( member & co-founder of Overdose - a pioneer Brazilian Metal band ).
Mixing groove and heavy metal sound, old and new school thrash metal influences with a strong will to present its work, Postwar has come to stay and will soon bring forth its first CD to the worldwide Metal scene.
REVOLUTION, RELIGION & DISORDER deals with themes such as false dogmas, drugs and humans’ addiction to them, politicians and their laws, the effects of prejudice and war, and the underground heavy metal scene in a third-world country, among others.
Currently, POSTWAR line-up consists of Cleber Orsioli on Vocals & Guitars, Marcio Garcia on Guitars, Bruno Amorim on Bass and Elvis Santos on drums. The post war is approaching and its first strike has just begun !!

De Santo André, uma cidade industrial próxima à São Paulo (Brasil), POSTWAR foi formado em 2001 para tocar Metal e mostrar como fazê-lo ao Estilo ABC.
POSTWAR tem tocado com muitas bandas durante todos esses anos e agora, em 2009, a banda está terminando de gravar seu full-lenght chamado REVOLUTION, RELIGION & DISORDER, produzido por Claudio David (Membro da pioneira banda de metal brasileira Overdose).
Com a união entre groove e heavy metal, "80s", a nova escola do thrash e muita vontade de apresentar seu trabalho, POSTWAR veio e mostrará à cena metal seu primeiro cd, um álbum com temas como religião e seus falsos dogmas, drogas e o vício humano, os políticos e suas leis, os efeitos do preconceito e da guerra e a cena underground em um país de terceiro mundo, entre outras.
Atualmente, POSTWAR é formado por Cleber Orsioli nos Vocais & Guitarra, Marcio Garcia na Guitarra, Bruno Amorim no Baixo e Elvis Santos na Bateria.
O pós-guerra está chegando e o ataque apenas começou.
