I'm alittle tired of having nothing in my about me section, possibly caused by the fact that I expect that most people here already know everything that I'd want the public to know about myself, and yet again in my attempts to explain myself I have lowered myself into a pit of utter confusion.
Moving on, I'm a senior at Ballard High School, home of the Bruins and quite a few drug users, only some of whom I come in close personal contact with. The grounds and architecture are held up to the highest standars of modernity for the 1970's, and that statement in itself should allude to the fact that it is,to put it bluntly, irreprehensibly hideous.
I don't expect you to know who I am if you are a student at Ballard, being that I have just transfered here from Hell. I mean Assumption. It was a very bad experience for me, and if you wave plaid around in my face I may have a flashback and a moment later be a quivering mess on the ground.
Though my friends in their kindness may disagree with me here, I'm a relatively mundane person. I go to school, I eat, I sleep. Thats basically it. In the intervals when I'm not doing this, however, I'm usually making a pretentious witticism or dancing around. You may see me in the library in the morning, I'll be the one loudly protesting the fact that we don't have a miniature train to take us to our classes.
My future plans are to go to an out of state college somewhere far, far away from here, and major in Anthropology and a minor in Comparative Religions. Don't ask me what I'll do with my degree, because I honestly don't know.
So thats all I care to reveal at the moment, and I'll see you all on the otherside.
For I Have Lived Like a Dusty Angel
by Michael Blumenthal
And the muddy waters have washed over me,
coating my large wings with soot, clouding my eyes,
and the raging blood has coursed through my veins,
flooding the flatlands of virtue and decency,
ravaging the structures, inundating the houses,
shattering the windows, and I have grown heavy
with my deeds, and light with desire,
been betrayer and betrayed, wounder and wounded,
taken my turn at whatever was possible,
bad father good father infidel satyr,
been decent, forgiving, tender, wounding,
whoremonger exile patriot rake.
I have shaken the birches, made love
under the sycamore, wept beneath the willow,
I have trembled with desire
beside the mock orange (What good am I
to anyone, I ask, if I’m not good
to myself? Why pray to an invisible God
if I can’t please the beckoning flesh?)
And what more can a man ask of his body
but that it confess to everything? Sad bird,
this human one, but happy in exile: a confusion
of tongues, a mottle of trembling needs,
the dust still gathering on these broken wings—
the darkness, the hunger, the flickering soot.
Who I'd like to meet: you, the Dhali Lama, God, John Lennon's ghost (me:ha you were wrong about the whole no heaven above us thing! John:...), a pirate monkey, Robert Plant
And Buddha!
you want to meet me? Yes you do! Yes you do!
Fair Mistress of the Satellites's Friend Space (Top 6)
that song is actually originally by Sigur Ros, an AMAAAAAAAZING band, if you don't know them then ... get to know them!
not the flu, just the same old thing I've had for officially 2 years (well like exactly 2 years and 16 days, but who the hell is counting?)
nywho, I hope your bright future and ambiguous future with We Are Scientists goes well! lol,
I myself feel the same possibility with Edward Norton ... but then again we can't all win ... so sad
it didn't sound creepy or mean, don't worry. but i am glad im turning 16 b/c i can ge my permit, which means i am one step closer to driving. I have been wanting to drive for a very long time, so i am excited. and also, if i died, u would probably here about it from lizzy or someone.
not pathetic - its totally legit - i mean, just give it time, i know it sucks and its horrible noncomforting advise, but i really do believe - it does get better
