POTENT is a cross between Rage Against the Machine and Dr. Dre. We have the big bass lines of the west coast rap scene mixed with the hard hitting riffs of bands like Rage and Audioslave and Zepplin. On our song Footsteps we collaborated with INCUBUS and we feel that we came out with a classic track. Also keep your eyes and ears open for a collaboration with POTENT and WEEZER.Potent is one of the most downloaded bands on myspace.We want to be one of the top rock bands on myspace, so we have thousands people putting us in their myspace top bands and top friends list.People say we hold it down when it comes to myspace rap rock, even though we dont really consider ourselves rap rock, We really dont care even if people say were a myspace pop band as long as they listen and love our shit thats what we care about.Howard Stern has mentioned us on his show as one of his favorite rock bands, and we love that cause Howard rules.
