Here's the story: Benn and Richie were being raised in Los Angeles and at the same time. Children both, they spent countless hours making potions to each other, though they'd not meet for years (Benn was westerly, Richie easterly). Speak: this potion is for Benn, this potion is for Richie, and so forth for quite some time. Later, B and R went away from their homes and scoured the world for each other, whispering of their childhood mixtures, raising chalices of health to those same clandestine allegiances in which they were one. Later (now) they are both raised in Los Angeles and once again at the same time. They have joined happily in the nether easterly-westerly of L.A. with the common observation, people who like people who don't like people don't like good [tk]. Now (recently) they meet each other often as they can (Benn is more easterly now, Richie is more westerly than before) to finish the songs they were meant to sing--those started when they were 3, making potions for the child who makes potions for the child he is yet to meet.
