After graduating the University of The Arts with a Masters degree in jazz studies, Mike continues to pursue his career as a professional trumpet player. In January of 2003, the life-long dream of touring with renowed trumpet player Maynard Ferguson became a reality. After the 7 week tour, Mike got the opportunity to tour with the Funk Brothers along the east coast. Mike has also performed on stage with LL Cool J, Los Lonely Boys, Maynard Ferguson, Donna Summer, Harold Melvin's Blue Notes, G.C. Cameron, The Spinners, Intruders, Stylistics, Jean Carn, Bunny Sigler, Patti LaBelle, The O'Jays, Soul Survivors, Chubby Checker, The Delphonics, The Mighty Dells, Bonnie Raitt, Paul Shaffer and The Temptations.
