I'm looking for a way to put a permanent end to white people playing reggae. Any ideas?
Movies
Harold and Maude. Anything Woody Allen. I'm a sucker for horror movies, especially the bad ones. The back catalog of regularly-watched flicks includes Cradle Will Rock, Freaks, State and Main, The Girl in the Cafe, Fear and Loathing, etc.
Television
The West Wing, Freaks and Geeks, Sports Night, Studio 60, The Office, The Daily Show, Arrested Development, Scrubs, Weeds
Books
God, it's been a while since I read any fiction. I tend to use my reading time for learning and my TV/Movie time for pretending and entertaining. That's sort of sad, now that I've had a reason to think about it. Anyway, I'm a big Hunter Thompson / Kurt Vonnegut / Henry Miller / Charles Bukowski / John Fante / Nick Hornby / CD Payne / Tom Wolfe / Hubert Selby fan when I do get around to reading books that aren't about programming languages.
About me:
Sometimes I sleep too much. Sometimes I don't sleep enough. I like to make things. I get paid to make websites. I don't get paid to sit on the porch drinking whiskey with my friends, but if anybody has any openings, I'm definitely your guy. I say “excellent” too much. I'm crazy about my motorcycle. I don't like sugar (except in bourbon and kisses). Let's have a dinner party.
Oh, and I'm nuts about personal defense:
Who I'd like to meet: People with stories to tell, and folks that want to pick guitars and sing on a porch someplace.
Yeah, it's my project. I made beats one summer and just decided to sing over them. It's just something I do in my spare time though. I didn't realize you were in Red Clay River. I remember you played at folkfest last year. It was great. I'll have to catch another show sometime.
Behold Illbotz newest video promoting our newest album "All Bot And A Bag Of Chipz: The Best Of Illbotz!" Produced by the almighty TJ Jessee of TJTV! Contact your local senator about Chick-Fil-A closings going on across the country every Sunday. Gyeah!!
You know, I was really looking forward to hearing it, but honestly, I find it repetitive and kind of boring. I think she took the chamber sound and ran with it. Overall, it's good background noise and I don't hate it, but, as a fan, I feel let down.
Alright, the couch is moved in and it's starting to resemble a civilized home. Therefore, we must set a night to hang out, and maybe be crazy and play some board games.
Also, how do you feel about PJ Harvey's new album?
Excellent. Yeah, we don't have to hang out at CI...we could go to the park and throw a frisbee for all I care. I just think a hangout session is in order.
Can't wait for the Filth of July Jubuliation of Destruction! Anyways, so I searched for my own name on Myspace within 25 miles, and came up with this dude from Roanoke or Vinton. Fucking awesome.
