POVERTY RIP:
POVERTY features three former members of Insanity, namely Bud Mills (drums), Lou Gilberto (bass / backing vocals) and founding Poverty member, Scott Dodge. And guess what they do.. They play brutal, straightforward oldschool Death / Thrash Metal!!! No mercy! Unrelentless oldschool riffing and drumming plus the duelling vocals of Sean (screaming) and Lou (growling) make all five songs a trip to the late 80..s / early 90..s for every oldschool maniac. No experiments but pure oldschool aggression! Maybe I..m too enthusiastic about this one and mentioned oldschool too many times but POVERTY kick ass!!! The sound could be more powerful but the raw and dirty atmosphere makes the songs even more oldschool (sorry!) and credible. I hope that POVERTY will succeed in delivering many albums of this songwriting quality to satisfy our oldschool (sorry, last time!) needs as soon as possible!
