    Denmark based rock foursome POWDERHOG started out during the summer of 2004. The band was formed by Johnny Houmark and Jesper Borg. With the determination to write new material, and forming a new band, they teamed up with drummer Peter H. Larsen and guitarist Jeppe Hagen Petersen, making the four man rockcombo a reality. In 2005 the band recorded their first and only demo EP which led to a long string of concerts throughout Denmark and eventually a record deal with Trechoma Records was signed in 2006. In 2007 POWDERHOG released their critical acclaimed self titled debut album and played shows throughout Denmark, Germany and Norway, getting great reviews along the way and international airplay on several radio stations. POWDERHOG returned in 2008 to the danish, swedish and german music scenes delivering their high energetic rock and roll. Their debut album was released all over Europe in june 2008 and got the band some excellent reviews! Come 2009, POWDERHOG won the Nordic Challenge on myspace and won themselves a spot on the much acclaimed Sweden Rock Festival. 2009 also brought a line-up change as Peter H. Larsen was replaced by the new drummer in the band: Kristian Pedersen. With the new drummer behind the drumkit, POWDERHOG recorded their follow-up album. The new album "Return Of The Gaucho" was released in October 2010 and received great reviews all over. Backed by great live reviews for their DK tour in 2010, Powderhog is now back stronger than ever and heading out into 2011 with new live shows across Denmark.
