    Ciao ragazzi, siamo i Power 87 una band pop/punk/rock di quattro ragazzi nati e residenti a Monselice (PD). Il gruppo si è formato nei primi mesi del 2006 ed è composto da Matteo Quaglio (voce e basso), Giacomo Sturaro (chitarra e cori), Mattia Todaro (chitarra), Elia Trento (batteria). Tutto è partito da Elia e Mattia che con l'intento di creare una band hanno chiamato l'amico Matteo. Dopo sei mesi si è aggiunto Simone Sciancati al basso. Da subito siamo partiti con brani creati da noi partecipando anche a diversi concorsi ottenendo, nel 2007, un terzo posto assoluto al Nostrano Rock Festival a Valnogaredo (PD). Ad inizio autunno 2007 abbiamo iniziato a lavorare ad un nostro progetto per la realizzazione di un album terminato a luglio 2009 contenente 10 canzoni in italiano. Il significato del nome della band sta ad indicare: "87" l'anno di nascita di Elia e Mattia fondatori del gruppo. "Power" sta ad indicare la nostra grinta, la voglia di collaborare e di esprimere le nostre sensazioni attraverso i nostri testi e la nostra musica. A maggio 2009 Simone ha lasciato il gruppo e al suo posto è subentrato Giacomo. La line-up del gruppo subisce un piccolo cambiamento con Giacomo alla chitarra e Matteo al basso. .. .. .. ..
