Music

White Room Music Studio:

The Power Station also has its own fully equipped rehearsal room and recording facilities. To use the room you need to become a member of the Music Studio.

Membership is open to all those interested in playing and making music. A membership form can be obtained from the LYPP office or Power Station and costs £5 for the year.

Membership entitles you to book the studio; hire LYPP music equipment for outside events, access to our discount and ordering service with Guitar Guitar Ltd in Edinburgh, participation in our new Friday Night Showcase evenings and you may sign one non member into the studio per session.
We also offer sessions with musicians and recording engineers throughout the term to help develop your skills. The studio is available to members during all drop in times.

About me:

Linlithgow Young Peoples Project (LYPP) is a charitable youth organisation founded by the churches of Linlithgow to address the social, recreational, emotional and spiritual needs of young people aged 12 to 18.

LYPP runs a number of youth friendly activities including: The Power Station Youth Club, Outdoor Activities Club, Streetwork, Schools Work, Music/Art workshops and special events.

All our activities are run by trained and friendly staff and every young person is given a warm welcome regardless of their background and circumstances.

Every Wednesday 6-7pm at the Tourist Info Centre at Linlithgow Cross..we kick off a new deaf awareness project next week with a girlie residential at the end of it...all girls welcome..
