Meet Frankie Bird! Watch him say "Hello Frankie Bird"!
..

Hi everyone!! It's good to meet all of you. Excuse me if I don't seem to be to close to all of you yet, as I've just been adopted for the THIRD time. Now don't get me wrong, I'm not a bad bird at all. My previous owner had decided that he was away from home too much to honestly provide me the attention that I might need. For this reason, under a heavy heart, he offered me up for adoption to this kind and loving family. I will miss him dearly, however, I've been promised that they will come and visit me from time to time, which I would love.

My new home is a little odd to me, as it's just so new. I currently have my own room in the house, away from the other birds, until I get used to my new family. I can hear my step brothers and sister (the rest of the family) in the other room squawking away. I sure can't wait to meet them. When I hear them talk, I've already tried to mimic them.

My new daddy has been treating me right. Tonight when they brought me home, I noticed the smell of pizza in the car (as they stopped and got pizza for dinner) and that just made me sooooo happy. I love pizza. I was so thankful when they brought me in a chunk of pizza bread. I was sooo hungry as I had not eaten yet. I'm a messy fellow when it comes to my standard diet. I tend to rumble my beak thru the bowl and toss everything on the ground. It was such a mess, I had to laugh when I watched my new daddy come in and clean up my mess.

Ok, let's recap my first night in my new home 11/10 -11/11/07. I've had a quite night. I tossed all my food out of my dish - got served Pizza bread, Parrot food, pellets, and a GREAT fruit salad. Apples, oranges, grapes, fresh cut peppers, coliflower. I wasn't sure about it at first, but now..... YUMMMM.

I was confused at first tho. My name is Franky and my new daddy kept calling me Randy! I think he was just too tired to think - as he stayed up until 3AM uploading new photos of me and working on the content of this page. My former owner - I know he still loves me very much, as he called first thing this morning to make sure I had taken the move OK. I love him still. I think these new people for posting this information about me on the website to keep my real dad (former owner - I can't call my new family dad yet until I get used to him a bit more) well informed.

There's not a lot to say right now, as I've just moved in. Daddy has spent about 3 hours in my room talking with me. He's got me to say a couple new things already. Like I can now say - "Do you want to watch that?" - I learned this as they have a TV in my room. Apparently they're a bit scared I'll get boared in my own room, so they let me watch some TV while they're eating dinner. Daddy went thru the entire TV guide listing until he found a show (music channel) that I seemed to warm up to, before he went and ate some dinner of his own. But right after that he' was back into my room talking with me. I as so happy.

I think I'm going to like it here. Come back and check on me often. Under the picture to this profile is a pics link that has a few pictures of me already. Soon I'm told, I'll have video's posted. Then I'll be a movie star!

Skoobie Doo
..

Hi, I am a 2 and 1/2 year old African Grey Parrot! I was rescued from one of our local pawn shops of all places! That's right, my old family had some hard times and had to let me go. I am a very shy bird. I tend to trust and like female humans more than males. Ladies are better looking anyway :) Because of this, I don't yet let the guys pet me, but I'm slowly warming up to them. I love to kiss 'em both tho!

My current living conditions are the best! I say this, as I used to live in a very small cage at the pawn shop and was kept in a corner. Now I live in a huge 6ftx6ftx3ft cage! It's so huge, I have yet to explore it all. I have so many toys and yummy things to eat and chew on. I have clipped wings so I can't fly much at all. But I get to play out on my play pen every day! And even jump down to go to the ladies so I can get onto the arm of the chair and she can pet me like a dog in her lap. I love that!

I can say very legibly my name "Skoobie Doo"... "Skoobie Dobedobedobe Dooo!"... "Skoobie Doo is a good boy"... And when I want a treat or a bite of what anyone else is eating... I get confused and say "Peeka Boo". I love to whistle. I'm slowly learning to whistle the theme to the old Andy Griffith show. I can make the whistling noise of a bomb dropping and exploding at the end. I don't know where I learned it (maybe from the stinkers around here), but I can also make "fart" noises, and make bubbling sounds like a water dispensor makes. I have lots of other fun things I do as well, I can rumble like a motor cycle (I love it when i hear them ride by the house), and honk like a train (we live only about 200yds from a widely used rail way). They just keep teach me new things to say and new sounds to try!

Thanks for stopping by to see me, I will have many more pics soon in the pics area of this site! Thanks for stopping by check out the rest of my family below!

Chucky
..

Hey, who goes there? Ya, that's right, who goes there, what you doing on "my" website? Well, it's great to know that! My name is "Chucky" - short for "Charles". I'm a "Green Cheek Conure". A pretty small parrot, not much larger than a parakeet (Budgie), but smaller than a Cockatiel. I was adobted from one of the local pet shops after already being adopte once. My previous "odoptors" had me for only about 2 weeks before returning me as, I'm a bit of a nipper! Ha, then these new "suckers" came along and adopted me. I'll show them! I also can be a loud little bird. Thanks to my sister (you can see her below), I know how to really squawk out loud now. When I was first brought home, for almost a year, I only made little noises, but now I can almost out scream her!

My family now has gotten used to me, or so the think, and like my brother up top, I like the ladies better than the men. I tend to really bite too much and to hard and I'll typically bite everyone. I spend my days when I'm bored and they are at work, sharpening the sides of my upper beak against the bars of my cage. So when I do bite... watch out, I'll make it bleed! Dispite my horrid mannor, the family gets me out every day, with the rest of "My" flock to interact and play. Some days I'm good and don't bite at all, but most days.... CHOMP! Thank god my family loves me and doesn't let this interfere with me getting out with them.

I have full flight capabilities and "I RUN THE HOUSE". My humans have obeyed my wishes and placed perches and play pens throughout the house for me. I fly to them all the time - whew it's a good time to get a break from them (or is it them getting a break from me?). For a brief time (before my sister and brother arrived) I was potty trained and would fly to my cage every time I had to poop! But now, I leave it for them to clean up. Hahaha... Argh! Because I can fly, I spend a lot of time atop the drapes above the living room window watching TV and keeping myself beautiful. I love to ride on shoulders, but if I'm bored, your ears will make a lovely snack! As did the camera phone, check it out in the video section of the web site!

I love to play with my sister (below). I get jelous when the family plays more with her than me. I wonder if it's because she has never bitten anyone yet! Ah... that' just can't be. I think they just like to make me jelous. Anyhow, like my bigger brother, I also problably have more pics in the pics section. Check 'em out before I CHOMP YOU!

Autumn

Hello everybody! Check me out, am I not so sweet and "gorgeous"! I am a 1 year old Sun Conure! I was named "Autumn" because my colors reflect that of the season. I was adopted from a pet store over 100 miles from my home! When they came and got me from my cage to check me out at the store, I immediately started to play. I knew that this was the family for me. I was eating about 1/2 real food and 1/2 formula at this time. I think I could've been put on full real food right away, but I truely love the fact that my new family kept me on formula for about 3 more weeks as I bonded with them hugely.

Unlike my two counter parts above, I love everyone. I don't bite and love to give kisses. In fact (kiss) there's one for you! If you were here, I'd kiss you all day and never stop! I love to play sooooooo much! They give me lots of toys to play with. I love to play "attack bear" (which is a tiny stuffed teddy). I have a tiny little hut that they bring out every day that I get to play in. They like to chase me into the cage, but ha! I have a surprise when they catch me. I like to flip upside down onto my back and wrestle with their hand! It's the greatest. My brother "Chucky" gets soo jelous when I do this. He tries to come into the house and join in the fun, but he usually ruins it, as he bites them to hard and his beak cuts like cissors - ouch!

I love my daddy (male human). When I see him, if I can't fly to him, then I squawk and turn in circles until he comes and gets me. I think it's funny, as every time he gets up, I immediately fly and land on his shoulder. I think he gets annnoyed sometimes, as I think he thinks he should get to go to the restroom alone! Darn it, he's snuck out again before I could catch him. Sneaky little bugger he is. But I love him. I really like to sit under his arm and cuddle up beside him. If he's not around I'll sneak under my mom's blanket and cuddle with her too. My family loves me, and I really love them.

My family has videos of feeding me when I was young. They also have a picture of me attacking the camera phone. It's in the video section of this page. It's not too clear as all they had at the time was a camera phone. Ah... those were the days! Check out my pics in the pic areas as well. Thanks for comming by and (kisses) for you!

Elmer Fudd Hunter - Ha,ha,ha

Hello everybody! Hi everyone! I'm just hanging out here in the back yard waiting for a few good treats and a decent meal. I've been free-loading off these people for about 2 years now. I truely enjoy this hang out!

These guys are pretty friendly to me. I like to hang out behind their shed. I eat their tomatoe plants. They give me some salad every now and then. They're cool.

I have to be careful though. The neighbors have cats. And me and my family have been caught out in the open before. Whew, we were running for our lives. Thank goodness that my un-voluntary parents came home in time to scare the kitty off.

Well it's time for me to take off. See ya later!
