Power Circus started around 2003 in Olneyville/Providence RI at 244 Oak Street where a bunch of brilliant noise bands & artists used to live in warehouses....
Lana Guerra is the original band member who used to play all over the country mainly playing straight up noise, at times she would team up with other noise musicians to record or play live. All of her shows are improv and most of any recordings you will find are recorded live.
Lana Guerra has played with & shared a stage with many amazing bands like Nurse With Wound, Soriah, Blixa Bargeld, Lightning Bolt, White Mice, Rubber O Cement, Moe! Kestra!, Arachnid Arcade, Panicsville, F Space, Jarbo, Societas Insomnia, Creature Feature...you can check out this blog for all of those old events & some with loads of photos!
In the past year Power Circus has grown by adding new members- Meghann Rose, Uxepi, & Jesse Reno and has become much more theatrical during their live performances in which each show is usual different from the last. We are steadily becoming a noise orchestra!
