easy answer. i DON'T record guitars, haha. years ago, i used my podxt, but there was something about it i wasn't satisfied with. i did however get some good sounds out of it at various times, but none of it really sounded 'true' as in, not digitally line-in'd or something.
i feel as though the only way to get the sound i imagine is using microphones.
woooow! they sound REALLY good! i thought you may have recorded them, but then i was doubted you could play a guitar that well (since piano is your thing ha no offense intended) and it seems silly to hire/call in a guy just to lay down something so simple
speaking of which, if you do ever need some guitars recorded, i'd love to help you out and get my name in something haha
I'm glad you said WE because there is no doubt in my mind that Beyond the Pain wouldn't be nearly what it is without your special genius! You blew me away over and over with how well you understood what I wanted.
Thank you again my friend and here's to even more and better collaborations!!!
