Who I'd like to meet:

We look to find ordinary people who can stand alongside their advocacy partner, helping them to be recognised by others, included in the everyday life of their local communities and, either enabling them to speak up for themselves, or speaking up on their behalf on the important issues in their lives.
We are always looking for ordinary members of the general public who:
• Appreciate and value new friendships in their lives. • Recognise the benefits a true friendship can bring. • Believe that everyone in society is entitled to such supportive relationships. • Can focus on what their partner wants • Treat everyone as equal • Can help people to have a voice • Recognise their partner’s unique talents and gifts • Help people make their own decisions • Assist in changing negative attitudes in society
No formal qualifications and experience needed. Training and support provided.
