God brought me kicking and screaming into His service in 1990. I was in the gym pumping iron when the Holy Spirit spoke to me, "I am calling you to preach My word." My first thought, "I'm not worthy." My second thought, "I'm not good enough." My third thought, "No one will listen to me. Who am I? I'm nobody. I'm nothing."

But, thank God... Christ is all in all and by His power we are reaching the X Generation through MySpace and beyond.

Behold! I have given you authority and power to trample upon serpents and scorpions, and [physical and mental strength and ability] over all the power that the enemy [possesses]; and nothing shall in any way harm you. (Luke 10:19 AMP)

The Powerhouse Ministry originally started with our simple web site:

Later, we expanded with a blog that provided ministry from myself (Brotha DC) and several other ministers of the gospel who were sent by God to support us:

After we published numerous books and audio CD’s, we realized that many people can’t (or won’t) spend money on the gospel. We acquired a third site so that our ministry could be available for free to those with the bandwidth to download it:

Through these and other outreaches, we hope to empower the body of Christ to do the work of the ministry... to awaken those who are asleep in the light... as well as reaching those who are lost in the dark.
