YAKUZZI TAPES!	2009/11/27 22:02 OUT NOW SNOB VALUE - DEMOTAPE! Snob Value is a filthy fat bastard from Wiesbaden consisting of five good lookin dudes. After listening to some myspace songs, I fall deeply in love with this shit. Raw, dirty and fast forward 80s hardcore punk with some nice catchy hooks. It's just like being back in the old days and listening to bands like CIRCLE JERKS or BLACK FLAG. Ok ok, this comparison is a bit exhaused by masses of third class hc bands, but trust me, this stuff is really rad! Limited to 111 poisongreen tapes in greeeeen cases! Cool? APOCAPLEXY	2009/11/19 20:14 Traktor - Lights LP finally out on vinyl! The soundtrack for the wedding party of anger & gloom. Traktor from Sweden, which are not only highly considered in circles of connoisseurs because of their extraordinary live qualities, perfect their grim chaos-core on their first full length, entitled Lights. The typical Traktor sound from the early days with indigestive breaks and dissonant guitar riffs in the vein of famous San Diego bands like Drive Like Jehu or Swing Kids is getting enobled with dark & calm passages. Although the album was mastered in the much sought-after Tonteknik-Studio in Umeå, the regulary comparisons to Refused or early JR Ewing are less present, then genre bulks like Lack or Breach. Lights is an album designed for a cheerless winter, post-hardcore between aggression & depression.
