About me: Powersports East was opened as Honda East in 1985 by our current owners and their previous partners. The owners brought with them a road racing background as well as a love for motorcycle safety and rider education. Originally, Honda was the only franchise and in 1990 Yamaha was added, including watercraft. Throughout the nineties the dealership offered motorcycle rider training and watercraft boater education courses as well as raffles and charity events. Many open house promotions even featured appearances from many top racers. In the new millenium we have added an online presence complete with a functional accessory store and a virtual showroom.
2002 brought big changes when the local Suzuki/Kawasaki/KTM dealer became available and we bought them. After operating two dealerships, it became clear that it was better to expand our Rt. 40 location and we merged in 2004 and have every major brand available to offer something for everyone! In 2006, we added Kymco to our scooter and ATV lines. And in 2007, we added Victory motorcycles.
We continue to host many promotions and also take monthly riding excursions with our customers and we buy dinner!
