    The PowerTest Conference is hosted by the InterNational Electrical Testing Association (NETA).

    NETA is an Accredited Standards Developer for the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and defines the standards by which electrical equipment is deemed safe and reliable. NETA Certified Technicians conduct the tests that ensure this equipment meets the Association’s stringent specifications. NETA is a proud sponsor of the IEEE/NFPA Arc Flash Research Project. About me:

PowerTest, hosted by the InterNational Electrical Testing Association, is an electrical maintenance and safety conference focused on safety, reliability, and equipment education within the power systems industry. Each year, PowerTest is attended by hundreds of industry professionals and students involved with or responsible for electrical power systems.

Attendees gain applicable tools and resources related to arc-flash, the 2009 NFPA 70E, IEC 61850, protective relays, circuit breakers, infrared technology, cables, transformers, and more.

PowerTest features a variety of technical activities, including paper tracks, interactive panel sessions and symposium, a new product forum, trade show, networking opportunities, and post-conference seminars. Social activities for attendee guests will also be provided during the conference.

PowerTest 2010 will be held February 15-16, 2010, at the Hyatt Regency in Long Beach, California. Long Beach features a beautiful beach location with plenty to do for attendees and guests, including the world-renowned Knott's Berry Farm and Disney Land theme parks, cruises, Japanese gardens, the Aquarium of the Pacific, and much more!
