"Il Pozzo dei Dannati" è una trasmissione Heavy Metal in onda da Ottobre a Luglio sulle frequenze 104.0 di Radio Popolare nella provincia di Verona. Condotto da Franz, il programma, in onda ogni giovedi sera dalle 22,30 alle 23,30 e in replica il sabato notte dalle 1,00 alle 2,30, si pone l'obiettivo di diffondere musica metal a 360°, grazie agli eclettici gusti del conduttore. Franz è un patito della musica estrema, quindi vi garantirà black, death a profusione, senza disdegnare però puntatine in territori più soft, quali il gothic, il doom, il prog, il dark, il post-rock o l'heavy classico. News, concerti, interviste con gruppi locali e promozione di band italiane, completano la trasmissione.

"The Pit of the Damned" is a Heavy Metal radio-show on-air from October to July on frequencies 104,0 FM of Radio Popolare in the area of Verona (Italy). Lead by Franz, the show, online every Thursday night from 22,30 to 23,30 (C.E.T.) and in replica on Saturday night from 1,00 to 2,30, has the aim to spread heavy metal music in all its variety, due to the eclectic tastes of the conductor. Franz is a great fan of extreme music, so he will guarantee black, death, and music softer like gothic, doom, prog, dark, post-rock and heavy classic. # PER CHI ASCOLTA: Death melodico, Children of Bodom, Kalmah
Si sa quanto l’Est Europa sia un importante bacino dove andare a pescare le band più interessanti in ambito metal. Russia, Ucraina e paesi Baltici rappresentano poi i luoghi dove evidentemente si cresce a pane e metal, perché questi Solerrain sono una realtà estremamente interessante che le case discografiche non dovrebbero lasciarsi sfuggire. Inizialmente influenzati dal sound dei Children of Bodom, il quintetto di San Pietroburgo, il cui nome deriva dalla combinazione delle parole “Solitary” e “Terrain” (quindi terra abbandonata), ci deliziano i timpani con questo demo cd di (ahimè) solo tre pezzi, cercando di combinare gli insegnamenti dei maestri, con una propria distinta personalità. La prima cosa che balza all’orecchio è sicuramente la pulizia e la freschezza dei suoni, la potenza che alimenta un frenetico headbanging già dall’iniziale “Your Hell”, song ricca di cambi di tempo, parti estremamente melodiche e aggressive al tempo stesso e con i classici giri di chitarra che hanno reso celebri i “figli di Bodom” (forse l’unica pecca di cui i nostri dovranno liberarsi al più presto). Si passa alla successiva “The Promise”, che mette in luce le capacità tecnico-compositive del combo russo, rendendoli a mio avviso migliori e per lo meno più vari dei già succitati colleghi finlandesi. Il death melodico si miscela alla perfeziona con l’heavy metal puro alla Iron Maiden, per ciò che riguarda l’epicità delle ritmiche. La voce di Pavel è perfetta per questo genere, mantenendosi sempre in secondo piano rispetto alle ritmiche. La terza e ultima “The Curse” chiude con rammarico questo demo cd, perché sinceramente mi stavo divertendo nell’ascoltare questa band dotata di grandi potenzialità. Che meraviglia potersi guardare intorno e vedere che ci sono decine di band interessanti (e sconosciute) a cui prestare il nostro ascolto, i Solerrain sono una di queste… (Francesco Scarci)

Long-awaited tribute album to one of the most famous funeral doom metal bands Thergothon which were the forefathers of the style who gave birth to numerous followers among musicians and fans among listeners.
"Rising Of Yog-Sothoth: Tribute To Thergothon" is the first wide-range attempt to pay tribute to this great band. Seventeen bands of various styles and countries including Great Britain, Finland, Russia, USA, Netherlands, Australia, Germany and Canada took part in this tribute being outstanding and interesting musicians of those somehow influenced by Thergothon.

The Morningside "Moving Crosscurrent Of Time"

The second long-awaited album by Russian masters of melancholic metal, The Morningside "Moving Crosscurrent Of Time", holds the direction chosen at the debut band album demonstrating combination of lyrical and heavy compositions touched with the mood of slight sorrow. New The Morningside work also demonstrates tendency to melodic complication while fragmental parties of atmospheric keyboards associating with Eduard Artemyev’s works ("Solaris", "Stalker") add depth to the album sound. The essential part of this album is inspired by Ray Bradbury’ novel "Something Wicked This Way Comes". Kauan "Aava Tuulen Maa"

New album of this successful Russian band could be a real surprise for those familiar to early Kauan works mixing folk, black and doom metal. "Aava Tuulen Maa" shows musicians’ yearning for more lyrical and soft music filled with refined atmosphere of calmness and melancholy. Harmonic combination of guitars and male vocals with piano and violin gives birth to unbelievably beautiful melodies filled with dark romanticism and unbounded nature spirits. New Kauan album is addressed to fans of such bands as Tenhi, Subaudition, Nest and October Falls. The 20-page booklet is illustrated with watercolour paints adding new strokes to the musical mood of the album.

Raventale "Mortal Aspirations"

New Raventale album "Mortal Aspirations" demonstrates the final of band’s transformation from depressive black/pagan metal to black doom metal. The music became more rigid and cold. Power guitar riffs framed by atmospheric keyboards are able to veil the listener with the gloom of night and take away to the world which has never been seen before. "Mortal Aspirations" also features exclusively English lyrics which evolve from panegyric on nature to inner feelings and emotional experiences.

Negura Bunget is ready to announce the title of the next album - Vîrstele Pămîntului (engl. - The Ages of the Land/Earth).
Vîrstele Pămîntului is an album about embracing your destiny, about choosing and consciously assuming a way of life. The earth is where we came from and where go back into, the one from above and beyond us. Understanding and respecting it is understanding yourself, your purpose and destiny. Vîrstele pămîntului is an album about places of the earth and places of the spirit, about bounds transcending worlds.

The work on the album is schedueled to be completed on a seclusion Negura Bunget will take into the wilderness of the mountains in the following weeks, to concentrate soley on the work for this album, which will be a landmark for its future evolution.

There is also a very special packaging for the album in work. More details about this will be revealed soon. You can expect another handmade, natural and organic concept extending from the music through visuals and packaging.

English band Eibon la Furies have signed a worldwide deal with Italian label Code666 Records.
Created by Lord Eibon Blackwood around his interests in Victoriana Occult and Infernal Brigantia

The Southern-Italian Metal Occultists Ecnephias signed an important deal for the release of their next album with Code666.

The new album, third release for Ecnephias, aspires to set itself as the true landmark in the band's career, as it stands out as a more mature and complete work.

Ecnephias mainmen Mancan said: "the upcoming work, with the symbolic title "Ways of Descention", will bring Ecnephias to the definitive construction of their own sound, in which every single and peculiar element will be brought to its extreme; the tracks emanate great ferocity, tempos are perfectly balanced between blast-beats and mid-tempos and the arrangements confer to every track a sinister and mysterious halo on which the vocals, more wicked and various than ever, will narrate the secret history of an occultist priest of the Italian '700 , a dark figure all of the lyrics of the work are based on".
