Founded in 1992 as a center for percussive study, Progressive Percussion has evolved into full-scale music education facilities known today as Progressive Music Center.
Our studios are located in Raleigh, NC and Wake Forest, NC
We offer the best in private lessons for guitar, drums/percussion, bass guitar, piano and voice as well as instrument repairs, rentals, and sales.

LESSONS
Progressive Music Center offers private, one-on-one lessons and group classes for beginner guitar and drum/percussion. Our instructors are professional musicians and teachers with years of knowledge in their field.
Our centers are fully equipped state-of-the-art facilities with complete drum sets, percussion instruments, electronic/MIDI eDrums, guitars, amps, basses, audio and video capabilities and a plethora of musical equipment for our students use.
Our Rock Academy is the original innovative program designed to give students the ability to perform music with other students. This program places drum, bass, guitar and piano students together based on skill level to rehearse and create music as a group.
The student bands are allowed weekly access to a full rehearsal room. Once the students are rehearsed and ready, dates are set for performances. All Rock Academy performances are open to friends, family and the general public.
The Rock Academy program is open to anyone, even if you don't take lessons with Progressive Music Center.

Steve and the band will be performing a full show at The Black Flower in Raleigh on Thursday, July 9.
