A Brief History of Time:
First there were parameciums, or paramecia. Or something like that. Then the Egyptians built the Great Pyramids. They surely had help from aliens. Later, Julius Caesar conquered much. His successors were known to do many naughty things. More people fought each other and destroyed things. At some point the Magna Carta was signed. Then more people fought each other and destroyed things. Soonthereafter a great man was born; his name was Albert Einstein. He invented formulas that no one else could understand. And he was mentioned often in textbooks. Not long after that a band came together and called themselves Practically Einstein. They decided it would be a good idea to get together in small, loud rooms and argue about how many times the chorus should be played, and whether or not there should be a G Chord in there somewhere. And yet they are still here, making rock and roll that rides the perfect line between indie and pop, with something for just about everyone in the songs. Even your grandmother. If she still likes to smoke and drink, that is.
Practically Einstein is based in Arlington, VA, nestled inside the Beltway of the nation's capital. PE has performed from New York to New Orleans, from Denmark to the U.K., and hopes to land somewhere close to you in the near future. With a new lineup, a brand new EP coming soon, and a show at the legendary 9:30 club to kick off the new year, the future looks exciting!
Best wishes,
Practically Einstein
