Blackmetal on the Big Screen!
CLICK HERE and listen to To Eclipse the Welkin, which has been submitted for a competition to have a song in the upcoming Punisher movie. Just by listening to it all the way through, you could help put a blackmetal song on a Hollywood picture instead of the usual sissy radio emo shit!
Ghost of Gods
Praeter Caelestis is a postmodern symphonic black metal band hailing from the California area. Their members hold degrees in fields ranging from Communication Studies and Digital Media Arts to Molecular Biology, Music, Sound Recording, Mathematics, English and Chemistry.
Praeter Caelestis write music using postmodern thematic techniques commonly found in modern movie scores. Listening to Praeter Caelestis is more than just listening to symphonic blackmetal songs; it is an epic journey through the sensory landscapes of hidden mysticism, dark philosophy, and the future of science and technology.
The members of Praeter Caelestis write using the black metal lexicon to express their personal philosophies of transcendence and supremacy. Song themes range from society purging the evils of Christianity and other superstitions to the continued progression of science, philosophy, and technology.
