Prantz is the son of a British Lord and Lady who were marooned on the West coast of Africa by mutineers. When Prantz was a year old, his mother died of natural causes, and his father was killed by Kerchak, leader of the ape tribe into which Prantz was adopted. Kerchak's tribe of apes is known as the Mangani, Great Apes of a species unknown to science. Kala is his ape mother. Prantz (which loosely translates as "Man-baby") is his ape name; his given name is Paul Patrick Joyce. As a young adult, he meets a young American woman, Christie Brinkley, who along with her father and others of their party is marooned at exactly the same spot on the African coast where Prantz's parents were twenty years earlier. When she returns to America, he leaves the jungle in search of her.

HELLO WORLD! HAPPY SEPTEMBER! In America, it is obvious our National Media WILL NOT report on ALL the news we need to make informed decisions. The slogan "All the News that's Fit to Print" actually is meant to read 'all the news WE decide we want to print'. The MEDIA has earned our distrust & disgust. Like it or not, the Internet has now become our source for information. Not the news that's fit to print, but EVERYTHING. 'We the People' can discern in our own minds what the Truth is or is not, by seeing, reading & verifying ALL the available data. The Media has only itself to blame for this.
