About me:

.I love to play the drums.Yeah that's it!I'm not a professional rockstar.I simply love music and try to express it by kicking the drums. I started playing in 1998 with some cool friends at Nuno's garage. I began with Nuno on the guitar and Claudio (my cousin) on the bass, a beginner rock band named...NAMELESS. We started with an original song called "Pride"... After some research we descovered that the band name had been already registered, so we changed it to...HOPELESS! After one year we met Dany (vocals,guitar) and moved to his place. HOPELESS went into a sound remodelation; our rookie grungy sound was becoming a bit more intermediate; we wanted something more... In the fall of 2000 the band lost one of it's menthors, Nuno left the band. Carlos(Matador)was the chosen one to take Nuno's place. At the end of two years the band had a rock/hardcore/latin style. In the summer of 2004 HOPELESS had already vanished... I was invited to a METALLICA's tribute named FUCK'EM ALL. The tribute was a complete success, we played the most popular songs, since the band's beginning to the "Black Album". In 2005, Raça(vocals), Matador(guitar), Faster(guitar) and I were playing together in a new Metal project, but we needed a bass player. At the same time I was playing as a session musician for two other bands (MACLIMA and DIXIE), which had different styles; the first was Portuguese traditional music (most known as "musica pimba"), the other was rock. Finally in the Spring of 2005 we found the bass player to our Metal project. Sono was the man! But We needed a name to go on. A few weeks later and after a few failed attempts the project had a name - REVOLUTION WITHIN. I'm allways searching for new experiences, after all, that's part of evolution. Cheers!
