| General | Once upon a time I wanted to be a headshrinker but then I discovered there might be something valuable in being a little or a lot off kilter. So, I've left that behind in a search for listening to what Spirit suggests. For me, that means finding ways to embody peacefulness, making prayerful art, and learning to talk to the animals. Yep, that means I'm officially a nut. But I'm tasty sweet. | | Music | Folk, AltCountry and anything on Public Radio if it's good. | | Movies | I'm a pacifist so, naturally, my all-time favorites are war movies: The Battle of Algiers and All Quiet on the Western Front. Also: Whiskey Galore, The Graduate, The man Who Would Be King, most of Akira Kurosawa's work, and The Last Wave. | | Television | No time for Television. Life is too good to waste on a box, tho' I do catch the odd episode of Pushing Daisies.... | | Books | Any sort of food history, costuming, or scholarly book on Fairies. I'm currently reading Meditations on the Tarot. | | Heroes | Rev. Robert Kirk formerly of Aberfoyle & now of Fairyland;
