About Prayer of the Dying

PRAYER OF THE DYING is a one-man band formed in 2006, by Martin Ciappara, following 10 years of experimenting with different styles and bands. Whichever style or sound he experimented with, he could never forsake his roots in metal. The sounds for this band, was always in Martin..s mind, but somehow he could never make it real with any bands, due to the trend nowadays of releasing studio polished music, and as such loosing it..s rawness .

When you hear PRAYER OF THE DYING it..s like you..re going back in time. PRAYER OF THE DYING is a true tribute to the old days of tape trading when metal was uncompromisingly pure. HAIL !
