And I'll never forget every detail of that day!
The moment I realized you were really
gone…I prayed that they'd find you! Lord
"Please don't take them very long."
The police, family & friends were all
searching for you…
But as days turned to weeks we didn't
know what else to do!
Slowly all the people seemed to fade
all away…
All was left was the memory's which you
gave to me & our plans for the future that
ended that day!
I spent each new day remembering all the
things that we did & all the things that we said!
But I cried every night as I asked God to "protect
you" as I layed in my bed.
The lives of so many were affected that day!
And I'll never stop wondering why somebody
took you away!
Well that night of not knowing has now turned into
over 28yrs…
But sometimes my memories of you can still bring
me to tears!!!

I was last seen on the night of Dec.5,1979 in my home town of Palmdale, CA.

Circumstances: Tom was last seen on December 5, 1979 in Palmdale, CA. Tom was last seen leaving his girlfriends home.
Evidence showed he arrived at his apartment that night.
He was driving a dark green Firebird with Nevada plates. His car was recovered 2 weeks later with another driver.
The car was pulled over coming back into California from Nevada. The driver was arrested and held for about 2 weeks,
but with no evidence to go on investigators had to release him.

I attended the First Assembly of God Church in Palmdale for years...(my Grandfather was a pastor there for 20yrs)

Hello...sorry I have not received any response. My Dad was suppose to meet with my Uncle (Tom's Dad=Walt) last weekend and he did not show up. Connie never emailed me back. I thought maybe this weekend I would try and call Sandy (Tom's step-sister) who has kept that part of the family somewhat together. My Dad was telling me that Walt's kids do not respond to him at all anymore, so I am sure that is why Connie does not respond to me, since I am part of her Dad's family. I can't even image what it would be like to not really have a Dad. My Dad was so awesome so thinking my Dad was not going to be there for me, or at least have some moral connection to keep in contact if nothing else, is beyond me. Did Tom ever talk about his family here?
