Now I know this is where a text in a third-person point of view should be written but since I'm doing everything myself, I'm going to tell you about myself personally.
I was born in Germany in 1986 and was raised in a christian home since. The fact being that my parents were Missionaries, I already got to see alot of the World at a young age. I've been to places like Spain, England, Scottland, Wales, Denmark, Nevade (USA), California (USA), France, Switzerland and so on. Please dont get me wrong, im not trying tp boast with this, I am just trying to let you know how I became the person I am today. Anyway... like I said my parents were Missionaries. At the age 12 my parents and I moved to Whitby, England, where I went to school. About 1 year later we moved to Duns Scottland where my parents went to Bible School. I myself went to the local High School there. Again about 1 year later we moved back to England, but this time we moved to Stockton-on-Tees. We became part of the Oakwood Centre (the name of a church) in a town called Eaglescliffe. This is where alot of things happened in my life.
Here I met alot of good friends, some became my best friend and we still have contact with eachother now, but most importantly, I met the best friend someone can have; Jesus Christ. I mean I knew about him all along since I was raised in a christian home, but this is where it got serious for me. I was attending the churches youth regularly and got to know Jesus more and more. One day we went to a concert called NE1 (Anyone). Several christian bands performed such as the World Wide Message Tribe, Delirious and various others. After a short preaching an altercall was made. I took the chance and gave my life to Jesus. Back at church it only took a week until I got baptised. A very special moment for me since my parents baptised me.
Now I know you might be wondering what this has to do with me as an Artist. Well let me explain it to you. After all this happening I started to know about Hip Hop. My best friend gave me the Marshall Mathers LP by Eminem to listen to. After listening to it countless times I thought to myself:
"I CAN DO THIS TOO"
This is where Preach started up. In 2002 my parents and I moved to San Jose, California through a calling God had for my parents. Here I bought my first beats and wrote my very first lyrics. Differently than planned we had to leave California about one year later. We went back to Germany. Here I started my first recordings with free-beats and own lyrics. Becoming part of a secular rap group, christian rap completely left my mind. Concerts, sleeples nights for the first album... we had it all. BUT this was not for long! In 2008 God called me to do music for the Kingdom again and i followed. I left the group to go my own way. Since then I changed as an artist, finding my own style, being open for new things.
New artists, new friends, new contacts. LORD - HERE I AM!
