About me:
My Personal Goal in Life is to Live with Passion!!!!
This Year I am on the board with Women in Film Dallas and have just returned from a fantastic WIFT-Toronto Summit. This was also my first year to help out with the AFI Volunteer Board here in Dallas helping to build databases and network. It was an amazing success! I also attend AFI-AFM this year in California as well as the Crystal Awards in June with Women in Film California. I Attended IFP in New York earlier this year.
I have been with Women in Film Dallas since 2004 and encourage all to join. I am also affiliated with and/or try to support the Dallas Producers Association, The Hernandez Foundation, The Indie Club, The Dallas Ad League, Dallas Visual Society of Communication, The Video Association of Dallas, Dallas Ad League, TXMPA, IMedia, DCTV, AFI and a few others.
I have started the Dallas Screenwriters Production Network Group and the Texas Stunt Association Group and both can be found at meetup.com
I really enjoy meeting new faces, learning about others, and helping to connect people. After college, I worked as as a corporate, "HeadHunter". I have also always enjoyed buying and selling of real estate. I enjoy all types of business development and have established and owned several small businesses. There is something so stimulating and challenging about marketing advertising and creating sales and establishing networks.
This year I am wanting to concentrate on being a producer. My goals that are visible at the moment include; sponsoring a shorts film festival open to all genres and possibly setting up a distribution company. I would like to produce a few internet/television show ideas as well and work on a few outside projects. I am about building a great team and am looking for positive talented individuals to join with me to create successes.I believe in jumping in, rolling up my sleeves and getting involved.
I'm a flexible individual with a positive attitude that likes to give it my all and do my best at whatever comes my way. I want to make a difference in this world.

Who I'd like to meet:
More people who have completed films and had them distributed, people that have invested in the film industry or people that specialize in film financing. I'd like to learn more about distribution.
