PreddyFest Bluegrass Park is located in a beautiful scenic setting on the Tar River in Franklin County, NC making it a great family event. We have plenty of space and shade for camping, picking, and children. Originally it was a "get-together" week-end of friends and pickers that has evolved into what we believe is one of the best bluegrass festivals in the region.
Our first official festival was held on the first week-end in August, 1997. The past 12 years have been quite a learning experience for all of us, and we have come a long way, thanks to the great bluegrass friends of the PreddyFest. Your input about what YOU wanted in a festival--and what you didn't want--has not only helped us continue to grow, but to grow into a clean, family oriented bluegrass festival.
We hope that you will continue on a regular basis to share with us your thoughts and comments, both good and bad, about how we can improve our festival, our park, and our camping facilities. We also hope you will let us know WHO YOU would like to see perform at the PreddyFest.
