after their successful debut "hoping for dusk" and an extensive tour through england, belgium and switzerland, predominant lunatics strike back with "thirteen lost souls", released in march 2007. the band recorded 13 songs at the tavern studios in adelboden (ch), which appear more aggressive, more intense, more direct, louder and even more uncompromising than their forerunners. 13 - probably the most mysterious number in western culture - odd, undivisible, sometimes frightening, but always emotionally charged. the enigma of the 13 reflects in the mood of the songs: a bit gloomy, then popier again, sometimes enraged, to finally come back to softer tones, conveyed by poignant lyrics and symbols.
"the lost souls" were mixed by tony harris in his new river studios in london (uk). tony, who has worked with bands like the sisters of mercy, r.e.m., the clash and the fall, gave the recordings from the tavern studios a distinctive english-urban dimension. "thirteen lost souls" was mastered by ray staff at the legendary alchemy studios in london (uk). ray is one of the most experienced international mastering engineers and has given the final touch to releases of artists like david bowie, muse, nick cave and the bad seeds, led zeppelin and the rolling stones.
"thirteen lost souls" is released on the swiss label aurora music (distribution: k-tel international). the promotion of the release is provided by the lautstark agency (ch). a single featuring "cosmic trip", "in flames" and "night of the blind" was released in december 2006. danny mommens from the belgian band vive la fête has moreover created an electro-pop remix of "cosmic trip" available exclusively on this single. the tour will start with the cd-release gig at the isc in berne (ch), on march 22nd 2007.

Malgré cet article, de nouvelles menaces ont été proférées à l’encontre du club pour tenter de faire annuler le concert de Heimataerde qui aura lieu ce vendredi 19 décembre à l'amalgame.
Nous ne connaissons pas l'auteur de ces messages qui tente de faire passer le groupe Heimataerde ainsi que les gothiques pour des néo nazis mais nous sommes sûre d'une chose, nous ne cèderons pas à la menace et nous n'annulerons pas ce concert.
Heimataerde est un groupe qui ne fait pas de propagande et qui n'a rien à se reprocher tout comme Sanctuary ainsi que l’Amalgame club.
Si un groupe comme Heimataerde qui fait de la musique electro médiéval sans ambigüité peut faire l’objet de menaces aussi sérieuses, à quand l’interdiction de faire jouer des groupes comme The Cure, Cinéma Strange ou Alien sex Fiend ?
Sans oublier que céder à ces menaces serait donner raison à l’auteur de ces messages et par conséquent, prendre le risque de voir des clubs refuser d’organiser des évènements en collaboration avec des associations dark par peur des représailles.
