About PreEmptive Strike 0.1 [New album nearly finished!]
PreEmptive Strike 0.1 was created in 2002 in Agios Nicolaos on the island
of Crete in Greece by Jim 'The Blaster' and Cryon. Having worked together before on electronic projects they decided to form a band making the kind of music they enjoyed, combining the harsh Dark Electro/EBM sound with powerful melodies, eastern elements and sci-fi thematology.
2006 saw the debut release by PreEmptive Strike 0.1 entitled
'Lethal Defense Systems'- produced by Dimitris N. and mastered by
Vasi Vallis (ex-NamNamBulu, Reaper, Frozen Plasma).
Meanwhile, they appeared on various compilations while
continuing to work on new material and remixes.
Unfortunately, PES 0.1 were forced to remain inactive for most
of 2006, due to military obligations. 2007 sees them back and fully operational!
Now, the wait is over. PES 0.1 unleash the second
wave of attack with their new album 'Extinction Reprogrammed' on Infacted Recordings / COP International.
“Atmogat", a well known and respected electronic duo from Germany, after many EP releases, contributions on compilations and remixes for Tympanik audio and Hand productions, are ready to release their first full length album.” Trigger Event" reveals a world of intricate IDM/electronica experimentations, all with a futuristic approach that moves the electronic music standards a step further.
"Trigger Event" is coming early this December, enclosed in a beautiful Digipack CD designed by FKSD and featuring brilliant remixes by Access to Arasaka and NIKKA .
