credit to Gemma Purdey for the vocal in 'shallow water' and the pianos in 'she dont know' which the track was inspired by.
Thanks, if you get a chance please let us know what you think of our online jam 'concept' or if you would like to participate, it would be great to hear from you.
uhh well I know well what this kinda disappointment feels like..almost nothing worse on earth..like losing a family, ideas--and worst--ideals and hope! But u know..I recovered from that and stood even straighter than before fighting for my thing for my music for the blood in my veins which is music:) so will u I am sure because your songs must come out and spread all around peoples ears..solo or with band--u will make it.. great to be friends after all this time keep in touch and good luch, preeni! it will be even better this time

TORTUGA BAR - STORM EP (VIERSIEBEN RECORDS/FINETUNES) OUT NOW!
This online EP release (5 Tracks & Artwork) is not just an appetizer for the album which follows on June 26 - among the album versions of "Storm" (feat. Evan Dando) and "Feel the Love" it contains a remix of "Storm", made by labelmates Monocular, the track "Cavallo Pazzo (Song For Mondo Fumatore To Sing)" feat. Werner Kureinski, former member of Aheads and "Do It Right", a nice version of the Daniel Johnston song performed by Tortuga Bar and Navel.
hey preenster - gem says you might be looking for some biking buddies? you're super welcome to get cher archie up here and join our little coterie - some great roads up here - loving the new gemma tracks too - nice work fella
We are very proud to announce, that Monocular s "Water Shape EP" is available at your favorite Online-Store now.
Containing the single "Water Shape" from the forthcoming album "Somewhere On The Line" (April 03, 2009 VierSieben Records/Alive) and three non-album tracks ("Consequence", "To Admire The Life", "Ravenclaw"), it is definitely a must have for all fans of filigree and athmospheric electrosounds.
Where bands like Lamb or Frou Frou left a gap in the late 90s and early 21st century, Monocular redefined the sound and set new standards in developing their complex music by connecting charismatic vocals with entrancing soundscapes.
