Formada em 2006, por Luiz Freitag (baixo), Orlando Fiori (teclados), Jean Rangel (voz) e Thiago Alves (bateria), a Prelludium traz um conceito inovador em suas composições: Reúne duas opostas e importantes vertentes do Metal, o Progressivo e o Melódico, na visão mais moderna e criativa que o estilo possa oferecer.
Com Identidade própria, sua proposta é juntar toda a musicalidade e influências positivas do metal melódico, a vontade de quebrar regras do rock progressivo, assim como a espiritualidade não-ignorante, o peso, a expressão, sentimentos e medos, e um tempero tipicamente Brasileiro.
Em 2007, a banda fecha concepção e arranjos do EP “MESSIAS” e no início de 2008 finaliza seu EP debut “Messias” que conta com a participação especial da vocalista Jamila Farah, na faixa “Infinite”.
A banda tem influências de Symphony X, Andrômeda, Adagio, Angra, Children Of Bodom, Sagrado Coração da Terra entre outras, e é uma continuação do projeto ‘Sygnus’ (2003/04) que foi interrompido por razões pessoais.

The purpose is to put together all the good influences and musicality of power/melodic metal, the will to break proves of the progressive rock, as well the espirituality, the weight, The expression,feelings and fears, and a brazilian tipically seasoning.
