Hello and welcome to my Myspace!
I'm Justin Prentice and as you can see, I'm a Guitarist/Instrumentalist. I play various types of Metal/Rock and Experimental music. I'm influenced by a range of artists but my main influences in the music I compose include Paul Gilbert, Carcass, Annihilator, Dragonforce and especially Iron Maiden. I play at the Sidcup/Bexley Guitar Society which is held at the Conservative Club at the end of each month which promotes all styles of music. I'm currently studying Btec First Diploma in Performing arts (Music Production Pathway) at Croydon College and I'm enjoying every minute of it! Just so you know I also have a Myspace people account, www.myspace.com/metalcoremayhem, which you are more than welcome to check out anytime.
Well, have a browse round, leave a comment and keep rocking!

HI Justin, Glad to see you bro.. Looking forward to the release of the RR CD. Glad to be answering you today. Life just got in the way over the last few months.. It's nice to have a little more "free" time on my hands so I can get back to "spacing". :) Take care, Don :D

Thanks Justin - those tracks feel a bit old now (except for the Oliver Williams project) but just haven't had time to record anything new for a while. Don't forget to let me know wheen the new track is ready.
I think you're right about the curse. And it was going so well up to that bit in the solo. But you know what, people like it when we screw up - specially if you can laugh at it and carry on.
Sounds interesting - "Conjuration ...." has that epic feel to it. And its funny you should mention those books because I kept having these terrible nightmares about Lord of the Rings - but my doctor says I'm just Tolkein in my sleep!
Arch Enemy rolled up a like a snowball and smashed in our faces! That was brilliant.People still talking about it an hour after you'd gone. Nice one matey.
Justin, Thanks for stopping over and the blog comment.. I hope you listen to it's Just A Matter Of Time.. the guitar is tuned to open D minor.. the finger picking enables to include some dissonance in the rythm track.. there are only 2 guitar tracks.. the main track is on the left and right and the second is in the background and in the center field. The vocals are triple tracked.. albeit the vox and #1 guitar were done simultaneously. I wanted to share this because it seems you are studying recording too? Have a great up and coming holiday season mate. Cheerio.. Your friend, Donster :D

I invite you to come over and listen to some of the tunes on the 2 players I have or have a go with one of the 3 live footage videos from a TV show I did with my old band back in 1998. Take care and have a great week. Your friend, Donster ;D
Thanks Justin. I'm glad you enjoyed my performance. The guitar society was great and everyone played well. I really enjoyed your playing as well. The original you did was fantastic! Best of Luck to you. Me and the family are moving to Sidcup next year so I will be a regular at the society. Look forward to seeing you Rock out! Cheers, Logan
