well the past two years have been so amazing for us. we had so much support from the scene and played so many memorable shows. this band has went further than weexpected. and we enjoyed every second of it. we never thought this band would ever last this long. so many memories and so many awesome people we have met on our journey and a band. but we decided that the band needed to come to an end. its very overwhelming for us to say it but this band is done.
the past few months we've been having mixed feelings about the band and felt like it shouldnt go on anymore. you can call it a personal issue for all of us. we tried our hardest to keep the band going, writing new songs and going towards a new sound. but things didnt work out. as of members, we felt like we have grown apart from each other. almost like we were in different "groups" and the only time we saw each other was at our own shows and practice. also on our minds, we felt like we were a burnt out band. after playing every weekend for the past 2 years, yeah we can understand. it gets old fast. so it was time for the end.
but as of members, we have grown so much. music wise and mental wise. we are going our seperate ways and starting new projects. as for nicka and nick, they will continue playing in their new pop punk band, something about airplanes (myspace.com/somethingaboutairplanespdx). and as for the other members, its still unknown but make sure to look out for their projects.
as for the last show, we are trying to set up one at the end of august or early september. we're trying to get our friends on the show to share this experience with us. bands who have been there for us and support us this whole time. bands such as life and limb, brutal fight, i quit, grounds for assault, and the serene iscariot. so look out for the date for the last show.
if anyone wants a full length and our first demo, get a hold of us and we'll give them out for free and up online for everyone to download. but, we are all out of shirts. they are completely sold out.
we still have a show august 18th at the signal with signs of hope, grounds for assault and american me. so come out and see us, it will be our 2nd to last show.
we want to thank everyone who has supported us the past two years. we love you all so much. thanks for keeping us alive this long. you all mean so much to us.
