About me:
We are the High School Youth Group from First Presbyterian Church in Clarks Summit, PA. We welcome any area high school students. As a group, we are striving to live our lives in a way that reflects God's great love for the whole world and to learn to walk in the Way of Christ.
We are very mission-minded: we just returned from a week serving in the Fishtown/Kensington neighborhood in Philadelphia. Previously, we raised over $2600 in March 2007 to fight world hunger through World Vision's 30 Hour Famine; in June 2006 we went to D'Iberville, Mississippi, where we helped in the Hurricane Katrina rebuilding process; and, in August 2006, we went to Conklin, New York, where we served lunch and dinner to people who suffered damages from the severe summer flooding.
Our Director of Youth Ministries, and administrator of this page, is Josh Frank. He began working at Presby in August of 2006. Josh is also the Youth Missioner at Church of the Epiphany, an Episcopal church in Clarks Summit.
