    Deep within the hills of Perth, neighbours of all size and age are having their ear drums thrashed and their tempers tested by a brand of music best described as groove-driven progressive metal, brutally orchestrated through the use of unconventional time signatures and uncooperatively low tunings. With song structures walking the fine line between being either "insanely technical", or simply "chaotically improvised" , Prescient manage to fit into each song a diverse range of feels and sounds, each drawn from a more obscure influence than the last. Composed of three members, Prescient provides an honest, instrumental metal experience aimed at quenching the thirst of all metal heads alike - be it a thirst for huge soaring choruses, epic screaming guitar solos, jaw breaking gut-heavy metal, the blinding speed of pure thrash, or the mind altering time signatures running sixteenths around the standard four/four bars.
