I think the tag line says it all.
Whether it is comedy or horror that you’re ailing for, Prescribed Films has the cure. Formed in 2000, PF has been working movie magic with one goal in mind, creating movies that people love to watch.
And while the process hasn’t always been easy, the dedication of PF founders Mike Saunders and Jason Bolinger has never wavered.
“I remember when our editing bay was a string of VHS recorders. Things have come a long way for us,” says Mike Saunders. Even through the hardest of times and the tightest of budgets, Prescribed Films has kept its focus.
Jason Bolinger illustrates this focus. “It’s always been about the audience. On every set, we’re always trying to push the envelope and give our audience what it wants.”
So far, they’ve delivered. Each movie from Prescribed Films has been funnier, gorier, more shocking and more exciting than the last.
And it looks like they are continuing that arc toward comedy and horror fame with their next film, Legend Has It. Watch for more news about it and get ready to laugh until you’re scared.
Their latest films Through the Night, Going to TromaDance, The Bag Man, Lights Camera… Kill!, Date Rape and Souvenir have been featured in festivals throughout the Midwest and won several awards.
Who I'd like to meet: Anyone who is interested in movies. If you've thought about making movies, or acting in them, whatever. We've been making films in Ottumwa for 6 years now and we're always looking for more people who want to help in any way. Even if you just like independent movies, we'll let you know when we're having screenings. People come from all over Iowa to help us because we like to have fun while being creative.

It's the very first episode of INTERGALACTIC and it's the first thing me and Morgan have ever acted in. It's a work in progress. I learn as I go. It's a great start though. We had a lot of fun and will be putting more stuff out soon. Maybe next time we'll have a script.
I fucking find it HILARIOUS!!!! I'm so proud of how bad it sucks. I hate introductions... I can't just start killing people. Maybe next time... maybe next time.
