    Hey, yesterday I popped into Moog Audio (where I go on occasion to drool over the Korgs and Moogs that I can't possibly afford (yet)), oh, and guess what I procured?! The VICE Guide to MONTREAL!  including such articles as "Montreal is Gay", "Franco/Anglo stereotypes" (very concise), "How I Became a Witch", and, my favorite, a historical guide to key Montreal streets, including this gem on rue St-Catherine..  "Records are a little shoddy, but the general consensus is that Saint Catherine was a 4th Century Egyptian who converted the Empress of Rome to Christianity and was beheaded, only to be wedded in heaven to Jesus (by the Virgin Mary). She lends her name to an archaic torture device, the Catherine Wheel, also known as the breaking wheel, which looks a heck of a lot like those big circular things Cirque de Soleil acrobats roll around on".

    no wonder kids go apeshit over this mag
