Who is Presto? At the early age of 11, Presto began writing poetry and writing down the lyrics of some of his favorite songs. Not getting good grades throughout his school days but receiving perfect scores for school essays showcased his left handed creativity and ability to paint pictures with words. “I don’t know, writing was and still is therapeutic for me.” It was a natural progression when he began putting beats under some of his poems. Graduated from high school at the tender age of 16, Presto’s talent may be a reflection of his unique background. Not wanting his family and himself to experience further financial hardship with college funds, Presto earned a scholarship to a university but opted to go into the military. Having served the US Air Force for four years, he now has a new mission, one of which has always been targeted, locked and ready to “blow up” …..his music. After earning his strips with the military, Presto had decided to switch uniforms from soldier to recording artist.
In record time, he has done commercials, short films and countless other projects. “Every day I do something to assist with the advancement of my career and the growth of my craft. “The Greats” in any category never stop learning. My philosophy is strive to keep striving. Never give up on what you want to do and when you do get there, never forget where you came from. I’m confident that I’m going to make it in this crazy industry we call show biz.”
A new look, flavor and attitude is always welcome in hip hop and for a guy who started his recording career out of a trailer-home closet back in North Carolina. Don’t sleep, Presto is definitely on his way.

Hott production, vocals and engineering is the equation to a banger but you have to have consistency in order to have longevity. Even then you have to have great promotion.
