“If I discover within myself a desire which no experience in this world can satisfy, the most probable explanation is that I was made for another world” -C.S. Lewis
hmm... I like keeping to myself as much as being around close friends. But do not mistake that for shyness. :)
I love music; I love art. I like to learn, I like to grow. I've played piano for 17 years, and want to discover a new instrument. I am an embarassment to the guitar... honestly. But its a working progress :)
I would like to travel to many foreign places whenever I have the funds, while the earth is still a beautiful place. I need to hurry.
Music
Metal,Rock, Rap (common, tupac, rappers with a message), Neosoul, R&B. Some classical and jazz.
At the moment I am developing a knack for music from other countries. Music to me is like strange food. I will try it all once. On rare occasions I fuse my poetry with a piano melody and make a song.
Movies
*The Breakfast Club
*Kill Bill 1&2
I like the concept of Peter Pan... although they didn't make it quite dark enough for me. Damn Disney.
*Interview with the Vampire
*The Fountain (brilliant)
*City of Angels
*Pretty Woman (yes... i went there ;)
*The Covenant
*Finding Neverland
*Pearl Harbor
*Alladin
*Talladega Nights, Stepbrothers, and Dewey Cox. I hate Anchorman, though.
*Oceans 11,12, and 13.
*The Notebook
*Ghost
*Robin Hood Men in Tights
*Patch Adams
Television
I hardly have time for it. But I like watching old reruns from the 90's, like the fresh prince and family ties. I like anime... but only with a good story line, "teenage drama" hardly holds my intrest. The History Channel always has something good on, and I enjoy interesting music videos. Southpark is always good for a laugh. ^_^ I enjoy watching documentaries about the U.S. government... it's like watching "Busted and Disgusted" only it's the USA that gets caught doing something stupid. Tsk tsk tsk.
Books
Humanity... I could read about the history of the Earth for hours. (Actually I do, on a daily basis lol) I enjoy reading about different philosophies, religions, and cultures. Anything in the hidden section of the libri... ^_- I don't like to read fictional stories as much as I enjoy the ones in real life. Perhaps this is because I am a part of the adventure. To figure out the puzzle of the self. What a delicious mystery. :)
As far as fiction I do enjoy the Anne Rice Vampire Chronicles. My favoite poet is Kahlil Gibran... his words... you can smell them, hear them, taste them on your tounge, and see them through his eyes. Alot of books tend to leave me disappointed... I have an extreme distaste towards the predictable, and a growing antipathy for the tween vampire genre. Do... not... suggest... Twilight. However, if you have something intellectually stimulating (or at least amusing) let me know, I love to read.
**Now, of course. Stephenie Meyer is actually a very nice person, and I hold no ill will against her, nor her literature. On a few occasions, I got to speak with her briefly, long before her books got to the epic level they are at now, and she was extremely humble and sincere. I do however tend to find the bulk of her fanclub annoying and self absorbed :/
Heroes
-My foster sister, for loving me without limits.
Charity... for the inner strength that she has yet to become familiar with, but thrives within her patiently, waiting for a catalyst. I'll be there for you when it bursts, hun. :)
Christian. For being the things that I am not, but am striving to be. For giving me the covenant of your love, while being secure enough in yourself to allow me my individuality and freedom. I vow to give you nothing short of the same.

Who I'd like to meet: I believe that I have. I have met the gentlemen, who waits patiently near the gates of the ivory palace. He knows who he is.
**a friendly reminder? If you have to ask, that means you are not him :/ duh.
MY FRIENDS. If you are one, then you are one of few, by choice. I tend to be flooded by acquaintances, but understand that few people are willing to bear the happiness, pain, vulnerablity, and passion of being a true friend. So wisely, I keep my circle wide, yet my heart specific to a select. But those few, and you know who you are, have my undying loyalty, trust, respect, and love.
Whoa!!! That's incredible!!! :D We Saskatoonians are a small number. :) Do it, though!!! I just hope you'll be able to pick the right time of the year. Haha! You can always stay at my place, if you would prefer. We have a couch which I can easily sleep on, if you want to take the bed. :) How does that sound, my friend?! That's super exciting!!!!! Aghhh! We need to chill on MSN again and arrange something wild like this! :P Much nigiro love, Stef. :)

I had wanted to tell you that your bulletin a few weeks ago inspired me to post it for my friends on Facebook...they all thought it was by me, lol. I said, no, it's someone much younger in physical years but wiser than them by far. It was so very moving and deeply truthful to its core.
I hope that things are going a little more smoothly in your life, but I know all too well in many ways the type of life path you're walking.
oh, yeah. he is a weird looking mother fucker, but if you've played street fighter3, he makes more sense. he looks like the final boss & his brother, off that game.
