Pretty in Velvet is the artistic dream of Kage. Performing in other bands over the years (Coven of Hate, Murder in the Dark, and Scott Crawford) and sharing the stage with the likes of The Serpenteens, Switchblade Symphony, Jack-Off Jill, Get Precious, The Lost Patrol, and Strange Things Done in the Midnight Sun, Pretty in Velvet encompasses 80's new wave (Gary Numan, Information Society) with a bit of electro ( Mesh, Devision, Assemblage 23) and old school rock (Alice Cooper and Ozzy) combining dark romantic lyrics and vocals, metal ripping guitars, ambient synths, and punk style drumming and creates a unique sound of it's own in the electro hard rock scene.
The debut album "Scream with Me: The Remastered Works" was an experiment into keyboard driven, emotion gripping music capturing moments of the artist's life and shoving them into your skull. Travel down the road of heartache and triumph through each song. Their Sophomore album “The Remains of the Heart”, due out the October 17th, 2008, will take their music to the next level telling the saga of the ups and downs of bad relationships and everything people go through in it from the hot and saucy start up to the fiery and shout filled end. .

to take on the world.
