December 2006: Joe e-mails Chris telling him he's going to be in El Paso for the holiday's and that he'd like to come over to Las Cruces to hang out. Chris suggests that they should start a band. Joe seems into it. Joe never calls. Maybe it was because Chris insisted on playing drums.
January 2007: Joe e-mails an apology, saying he didn't have time to break away from the family.
October 2007: Chris drunkenly corners Joe after The Potential Johns show at Fest 6 and says that this year while Joe is in El Paso with his family that he should really consider taking some time to come to Las Cruces to start a band; "we could even play a show!" Joe seems into it.

October/November 2008: Joe moves back to El Paso. Plans to start a band are made while drinking whiskey in Joe's car outside of a Bear Proof Suit show in El Paso. Chris insisted that Andy play drums. Andy is into it. Joe was into it. The next week, Joe comes to Las Cruces and the band has their first practice. Joe suggests they call the band Hotman. Everyone is into it. Joe calls the next day and remembers he wanted to start a band called Pretty Kitty Committee. Everyone is even more into it. The band practices a few more times, and apologizes every chance they get for invading the Thunderhome living room due to their lack of a stable practice space. Plans to play shows are made...
Anyway, long story short. This band was 2 years in the making. I was starting to think it wasn't going to happen
